California Mugwort

I was in the garden today, weeding and watering and trimming and busily puttering about, a glorious sunny day after a few really nice deep soaking rainstorms. As I stood in happy admiration of the green folk I spend my days with, I saw the mugwort in all of her glory. And I had to stop and pull out my phone and make this quick, impromptu video and share with you. Oh, and about the neener: ha. joking. I joke.

Hey, folks!

I was just making some usnea medicine, in preparation for teaching my 2nd year apprenticeship students all about it, and I thought I'd make a video and share it with you all.

Because writing seems to take more focus and intention than I am presently able to come up with. But talking? Heck yeah, I can do that.
